Extending over four atmospheric floors, our immersive experience tells the complete story of Frankenstein – from its toe-curling origins and how a teenage girl came to write her novel while living in Bath, to the monster’s 200-year journey across continents, theatre, film and television making it one of the most recognisable and iconic characters on the planet!
Bursting with unusual artefacts and vintage items, interactive multi-sensory rooms, assorted body parts, an 8ft animatronic monster, two themed escape rooms and a horror basement walkthrough, the House of Frankenstein delivers a fun, entertaining and emotional experience!

Situated between Queens Square and The Circus, we are an eight-minute walk from the city centre (Bath Abbey), and approximately 15 minutes walk from Bath Spa train station.
By Train

By Tootbus Hop-on Hop-off tour of Bath
If you’re taking a hop-on hop-off tour of the city, you can easily get here by hopping off at Stop 8 – Queen Square.
By Car
The nearest car park is Charlotte Street, BA1 2NE, which is five minutes walk away. Please note though there is a minimum stay at this car park of 4 hours.

By Coach & Clean Air Zone Restrictions
